67th All India Police Wrestling Cluster
Hosted by Rajasthan Police
27th February – 03rd March 2019 | Rajasthan Police Academy, Jaipur
Sports Event | Police Sports Championship | Large-Scale Event Production | 300 ft × 100 ft+ Dome Structures
Saksham Events was proud to be associated with the 67th All India Police Wrestling Cluster 2018, hosted by Rajasthan Police at the Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA), Jaipur, from 27th February to 03rd March 2019.
This large-scale sporting event brought together police athletes and sporting professionals for a competitive multi-discipline championship requiring extensive infrastructure, venue transformation, player facilities, spectator arrangements and seamless event-day operations.
Saksham Events was entrusted with a wide-ranging scope covering branding and printing, opening and closing ceremonies, academy décor, sports hall fabrication, massive dome structures, VIP handling, RSVP and registration management, and parking management.
Building a Sporting Venue from the Ground Up
The scale and complexity of the project demanded more than conventional event production.
Multiple sporting disciplines required dedicated competition spaces, practice areas, player facilities, spectator seating and supporting infrastructure — all within the grounds of the Rajasthan Police Academy in Jaipur.
Our team worked across the venue to transform the RPA grounds into a fully functional sporting environment designed to support athletes, officials, VIPs, spectators and event operations.
Our Scope of Work
Branding & Printing
We developed and executed branding and printing requirements across the event environment, ensuring consistent event visibility throughout the Rajasthan Police Academy. Branding was integrated across key venue touchpoints, sporting areas and event infrastructure.
Opening & Closing Ceremonies
Saksham Events managed the production and execution requirements for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, creating high-impact experiences to mark the beginning and conclusion of the championship.
The ceremonies required detailed coordination between production, venue infrastructure, programme requirements, guest movement and on-ground teams.
Rajasthan Police Academy Décor
The Rajasthan Police Academy grounds were transformed to create an event-ready environment suitable for a prestigious national-level police sporting championship.
Our décor and venue enhancement work helped establish a cohesive visual identity while ensuring that functional sporting and guest areas remained professionally presented.
Sports Hall Fabrication
Dedicated infrastructure was created for multiple sporting disciplines, including:
• Boxing Hall
• Kabaddi Hall
• Wrestling Hall
• Players’ Practice Hall
• Cafeteria
• Parking Areas
Each space required careful planning, fabrication and execution to accommodate its specific operational and sporting requirements.
Massive Dome Structures
One of the most distinctive aspects of this project was the creation of massive dome structures for each game hall.
At the Rajasthan Police Academy grounds alone, the dome structures for the sporting venues were above 300 ft × 100 ft in size.
These large-format structures incorporated:
• Stage Areas
• Sporting / Play Areas
• Viewers’ Seating Arrangements
• Supporting Event Infrastructure
Creating multiple large-scale covered sporting environments within the RPA grounds required meticulous site planning, structural coordination, fabrication and on-ground execution.
RSVP Management
Our team coordinated RSVP requirements to support guest confirmations and event participation, helping maintain organised attendee information for the championship.
VIP Handling
With Rajasthan Police and distinguished guests associated with the event, VIP movement and hospitality required a high level of coordination.
Our team supported VIP handling and guest management, helping ensure smooth movement, reception and participation throughout the event.
Registration Management
Registration management was an important operational component of the championship. Our team coordinated attendee and participant registration requirements to create an organised and efficient entry process.
Parking Management
With athletes, officials, guests, VIPs and spectators arriving at the Rajasthan Police Academy, parking management was integrated into the overall event operations to support smooth vehicle movement and access.
300 ft × 100 ft+ Dome Structures. Multiple Sporting Venues. One Massive Event.
The defining challenge of this project was its scale.
At the RPA Ground, Saksham Events executed dome structures for the various sporting halls, with each major structure extending over 300 feet by 100 feet.
Within these structures, we created dedicated environments for sporting activities, stages and spectator seating.
This was not simply event décor or temporary infrastructure — it was the creation of a large-scale sporting event environment from the ground up.
Large-Scale Sports Event Management in Jaipur
Large sporting events require a unique combination of event infrastructure, production, fabrication, venue management, crowd planning, hospitality and operational coordination.
The 67th All India Police Wrestling Cluster demonstrated our ability to manage complex event environments involving multiple venues, sporting disciplines and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
From massive dome structures and sports halls to ceremonies, VIP management, registration and parking operations, Saksham Events brought multiple functions together under one coordinated execution framework.
